Can you tell us more about your new album called « Medizin » ? How long have you been recording the album ?

Medizin is our second record. The recordings took 2 weeks but we spent about half a year to write the songs and get ready for the studio. We recorded in three different places but that didn't affect the work at all. It really went like clockwork. We worked hard to get the best result and are really satisfied with the finished record.

How did you proceed for the composition ?

First of all, we wrote the riffs and recorded it on our laptops to build a song basic with programmed drums. Just to get the idea how it sounds. We also did some vocals on that. After that we went to the rehearsal rooms to check out if it works or not. That's the point where we have to work the most. After that we meet up with our producer for some days to work out the details before we enter the studios.

Can you tell something about the lyrics ?

The lyrics deal with personal struggles and feelings, life and things we experience. In the majority the topics tend to be rather dark, but there is no real concept.

Can you speak to us about your musical evolution ? For you, what are the biggest differences between this new album and the previous ?

we just tried to make every record the best record. We don't try to plan that much. It just happens. It's a very natural process. I think the new record is more versatile. But i'm sure every fan will pick his favourite. They are both good in their own way. Of course i'm prefering the new one at the moment...

Who created the artwork ?

Which songs from the album will you play live ? Why did you choose that ones ?

We will play every song live, but not every show. Some songs are good to play every night, others just need a special moment, especially the mellow ones.

Did you film a promotional video ?

Not yet. Hope we get the chance to shoot one. Maybe some day...

Are there certain songs on the album you want to mention or tell something about ?

My favourite one is "24 Jahre", it is a really thrashy song with some kind of oldschool attitude.

What are your touring plans for 2009 ?

we hope to play as much as possible. We are doing some promotional shows in the next weeks, but only german dates yet. Hope we get the chance to play an european tour in autumn. We are looking for a good support slot, but it's not easy to get one. We will see how we proceed.
